The proposed building scenario morphed into two parts, the infrastructural roof and platform structures. Two slanted roofs with reversed orientation sheltered the site, create a diverse yet subtle shadow condition.
The roof is equipped with photovoltaic panels. Electricity is being transferred into the ground, stored in batteries in the foundation. Power cords and cable are buried in the ground running on columns grid lines, supplying potential energy users like workspace, as well as cars.
The building looks like a parking lot because current days cars are too much like cars. Tesla has been imagining a future where the car could be cleaner, quieter and self-autonomous. Whether the car started to share and take the responsibility of a building or still maintains exclusively a commuting tool, the building will need to grow with the evolution of cars. This proposal is about architectural space getting ready for the next generation of cars.
